    Why won’t my Flash® movie play?

    An Adobe Flash® Support license is required for each Channel Player to play back Flash® files. In addition, you will need to install the most recent version of the Adobe Flash® Player onto your channel player and the content server.

    In addition, the Settings.xml file in the runtime directory on the content server needs to be editted so that it reflects the Channel Players enabled to play Flash files.

    Is this the TEI.Settings.xml file that must be edited?  This is the only settings.xml I can find.  I assume this is the change that needs to be made:

     <FlashPlayers count="5">
       <FlashPlayer1 name="ctlt-player1" />

    Change the count to reflect licensed players and change name to = the DNS of your players.  I assumed this happened when licenses were added but we must do this each time we add players??

     Any info is appreciated as we're learning as we go with a new installation.

    Yes, you assumed right!

    This is the file I meant and this is the related section which needs to be modified.

    That did it!  We were also told that the channel players don't ship with Flash Player installed so we had to install the free player as well.

    Yes, it is free downloadable from Adobe.
